Symptoms Scabies: itching, especially at night, and a pimple-like itchy rash. The rash also can include vesicles and scales. Scratching the rash can cause skin sores; sometimes these sores become infected by bacteria.

Causes

Scabies mite is an infestation of the skin by the human where it lives and lays its eggs. It is spread by direct, prolonged, skin-to-skin contact with a person who has scabies.

Treatment
